Women's Information Service

What if I can’t stay home? For some, home isn’t a safe place to be during Covid-19. If you are worried about your safety, counselling and support is always available for women experiencing domestic, family or sexual violence. It is okay to leave your house if you feel unsafe. Phone The Domestic Violence Crisis Line on 1800 800 098. Phone Yarrow Place rape and sexual assault service on 1800 817 421. Phone 1800Respect (the national 24-hour helpline) on 1800 737 732.

The Women's Information Service provides information to South Australian women online, over the phone and in person. We aim to increase access to information that promotes choice and empowerment.
