Office for Women
The Office for Women promotes gender equity and positive change for women in South Australia through collaboration with government and community groups.
We work closely with women’s organisations and the government’s advisory group on women’s issues: the Premier’s Council for Women.
We develop policy and advice to support informed decision-making on issues affecting women, improving their safety, wellbeing, and economic security.
Office for Women acknowledges and respects Aboriginal peoples as the State’s first peoples and nations and recognises Aboriginal peoples as traditional owners and occupants of the lands and waters in South Australia.
