The team at Sports College SA (formerly SEDA College) is pleased to invite you to our 2025 International Women’s Day Morning Tea on Friday, 7th March at The Precinct, Port Adelaide (9:30-11:30am).
Our event is all about empowering young women and creating a space where they feel supported, connected, and inspired. Many events are out of reach for our students, so we’ve designed this one to be accessible, affordable, and impactful, ensuring they can build their confidence and networks while seeing the possibilities for their futures.
We proudly support the event financially to keep it low-cost and available for all.
This year’s theme, ‘March Forward’, marks 30 years since the Beijing Declaration on gender equality.
We're bringing together a panel of incredible speakers who embody this spirit of progress:
Hosted by Rebecca Morse – Award-winning journalist, media personality, and advocate for gender equality.
Keynote Speaker and Panellist:🌟 Dr Anna Finizio – Policy director and women's advocate, championing economic empowerment and leadership opportunities.
Panellists:🌟 Angelica Pupillo – Clinical Nutritionist and founder of This is Your Body, helping young people foster positive body relationships.
🌟 Anu Francis – Paralympic triathlete, disability advocate, and Exercise Scientist, currently ranked World No. 2.
🌟 Eloise Jones – AFLW star for the Adelaide Crows, inspiring young athletes to break barriers in sport.
🌟 David Watson – State Manager of Golf Australia, leading inclusion initiatives in golf.
