South Australia Business Chamber has partnered with the Australia Day Council of South Australia to bring you this year's United Nation's theme 'March Forward' to celebrate International Women's Day 2025.

This year, we are delighted to bring you a keynote presentation by Professor Leah Bromfield, the South Australian of the Year. Professor Leah Bromfield has devoted her life to establishing practical, evidence-based solutions to child abuse and neglect. Currently the director and chair of child protection at the Australian Centre for Child Protection, Leah developed the first evidence-based analysis of child protection practice frameworks.

Following the keynote, Professor Bromfield will join an inspiring panel along with fellow category winners Amber Brock-Fabel, 2025 Young South Australian of the Year and Sobia Hashmi, 2025 SA Local Hero Award, providing insights into a diverse ensemble of female leaders with impressive backgrounds.

Over the years, we’ve seen women break barriers, reshape policies, and ignite global movements. To explore how changes are being made in South Australian businesses everyday to 'March Forward', we will bring you our Business Panel. Comprising of Carla Kruger, Director of People & Culture, Mitsubishi, Laura Schonfeldt, Chief People Officer, RAA and Verity Gobbett, CEO, Womens & Childrens Hospital Foundation, it is sure to be a thought provoking discussion.
